| Souhrn apod.: | The thesis is focused on the role of mediation in family conflicts. The aim of the thesis is to define mediation as a professional alternative method which is helpful for resolution of disputes. The aim is also to define its role in family conflict. The theoretical part describes mediation as the professional method and it is dedicated to the specific requisites to. It also presents the definition of basic concepts and terms of related issues of mediation. Attention is paid to the specifics of family mediation. The empirical part of the thesis describes the real stories of participants in mediation. It shows the progress and terminations of mediation. The aim of the empirical part is a deeper understanding of the mediation process in practice. The conclusion summarizes all the gained knowledge from theoretical and practical part of thesis.
